Ritual

With a short three-week production schedule, we were tasked with ideating, designing, previs, and compositing to finish a 30-second spot in 3 weeks. Vin and I lead the charge, directing the motion around the idea of clarity inspired by the tagline “the future of health is clear,” carrying that thinking through every stage of the process.

Grateful for the opportunity to Art direct this project and lead a team alongside Vin Kim.

Design Frames

During the design process, Vin and I directed the team to stay true to Ritual’s brand colors while keeping the core idea of clarity at the forefront. Many moments relied on precise matchcuts, so we made sure to align details early on, ensuring each element flowed seamlessly from one shot to the next. This approach helped maintain visual consistency and reinforced the sense of clarity, even as we layered motion, texture, and light across the sequence.

Boards

Due to the tight timeline, Vin and I jumped straight into boards, building out a punchy 12-shot sequence to quickly lock the structure. Since the client wanted the piece to feel like a single continuous camera move, we focused on stitching each moment together early on, ensuring seamless transitions and a cohesive whole.

Finishing

For finishing, we focused on bringing all the elements together into a cohesive whole. The details are where the piece truly comes together. We aligned sound with visuals, refined typography, composited, and conformed animation so that every movement feels intentional and unified.
