Porsche - Tins
Role: Pitch, Design, Animation, Conform
Porsche came to Scholar to reimagine their iconic 1970s ad campaigns—minimal, modernist, and rooted in Swiss design—with a contemporary lens. The goal was to pair classic taglines with Porsche’s modern lineup of cars.
I was involved from pitch through delivery, contributing to design, animation, and final conform. I also adapted the piece for a range of aspect ratios—ensuring design stayed sharp and intentional across every format.

Design Frames
We stepped into design after winning the Porsche Tins ad pitch, reimagining the brand’s vintage graphic language as a foundation to build from. By emphasizing classic typography and pushing depth, we transformed the flat poster aesthetic into a dimensional 3D world that honored Porsche’s heritage while feeling bold and contemporary.

Animation
After designing these moments, I dove into fully animating them from scratch. We built 2.5D environments in After Effects using client-provided images and video. The challenge was simplifying complexity—designing quick, intentional transitions with enough space for the car to breathe between moments.
National Print Media Campaign
For the 911 billboard ad, my frame was chosen as the hero image for Porsche’s national print campaign—featured prominently across New York City and Los Angeles. To ensure flexibility across aspect ratios, we worked at a high resolution of 10,000 × 14,000 pixels and reformatted the typography for each layout.
