During the month of December 2021, I traveled to live with artist and friend Caeden Carvalho. My goal through this
video was to showcase his creativity and authenticity through a tactile editing
style. I also wanted to bring in an analog-style of filming to communicate the “home video” notion the style holds.
Art has the ability to showcase authenticity, and in this current scape of social media and online personas, there’s a craving to see genuinely. As Caeden says in the final moments of the video “I don’t think I’m creative, but I think that’s somewhat relatable.”
